History and Origins of Pasta Cuisine

Currently worldwide, pasta was identified with Italian food. Wherever one goes, they will introduce Italian pasta to the area their new home. But the pasta was not the real food of Italy, you know

...Previously I'll tell you a little about what is 'pasta'.Pasta is a type of food made of wheat flour dough without yeast and water.Wheat durum semolina used type is said to have fairly high gluten content. Gluten will be issued a yellow color and ease the dough quickly react with water. The name 'pasta' itself is believed to come from the Greek 'Pastos' which means 'dough'. In ancient Greek mythology god Vulcan makes mention of gandung dough and make it thin - as thin threads, and distributed to the people to eat.

How did 'pasta' to get to Italy?

One popular theory is published by the Journal Macaroni states that Marco Polo brought pasta to Italy after his visit to China which was then headed by the Yuan Dynasty (1271 1368). The Chinese already eat 'noodles' since 3000 BC. Marco Polo called this Chinese noodle with the name 'Lagana'.However, unlike the Chinese noodles in the pasta! Finally, the theory was challenged, especially a study in 1279 found that the soldiers in Genoa - Italy alone already consume dried pasta. While Marco Polo arrived in Italy in 1295.Emerging new theory which says that the Middle East (Arab countries) was the one who brought pasta to Italy - along with spinach, eggplant and sugar cane which they brought from the Mediterranean basin - during the Arab conquest of Sicily in the 9th century. This theory is supported by the history books record the history of the Talmud, written in Aramaic, which states that the fifth century there is a recipe for pasta cooking by boiling. This recipe was developed in Italy since the 12th century, where people are when it finally found a way to make dry pasta in order to be more durable when brought to migrate to other areas.

Remarkably, the Italians make the best recipe for smart serve pasta, so that people around the world think that is eat, authentic Italian pasta.
